    Great flexibility, good team, good colleagues, great parties and good food on campus

    Cons

    Slow processes, bureaucratic politics, no paid leaves for casuals.

    Advice to Management

    Improve induction programs and work from home provisions for casuals

    The atmosphere is highly conducive to intellectual and personal development.

    The management can be heavy handed at times; I suppose this is a problem experienced in most Australian universities.

    I wish management were reformable.

    - Attracts some of the most intelligent minds in the world
    - Dedicated and down-to-earth, approachable researchers
    - Beautiful sprawling campus just outside the central city

    Cons

    - Management is becoming increasingly centralized and obtuse
    - Some course coordinators clearly not invested in their duties to the next generation of students
    - Only a handful of quality food locations

    Advice to Management

    Don't forget the reason the university exists: to discover knowledge and promote the pursuit of enlightenment. Not money and administrative inefficiency.
