  3. "Decent if you want a couple extra bucks"

    4.0
    Former Employee - Stockroom Assistant

I worked at University of Tennessee part-time

    Pros

You get to make solutions for the teaching labs. If there isn't much to do, you can just study. It's a great opportunity for beginning experience in chemistry labs, and you get to make a little bit of extra money.

    Cons

There was a lot of heavy-ish lifting while setting up the labs. Don't expect a lot of hours. I only worked 8-10 hours a week at most.

I have been working at University of Tennessee full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

It's maybe better than flipping burgers, but you'd make more doing that.

    Cons

Everyone in this department hates each other, pay is terrible even by graduate stipend standards. Not a good place for graduate school. Very few career opportunities.
