I have been working at University of Texas at El Paso part-time

    Pros

UTEP offers great benefits. If full-time, you are able to take classes at a low price and most of the time you can get classes around your work schedule.

    Cons

If you are a part-time, your class load is not guaranteed. You can have teach 14 credit hours in the fall and drop to 3 or 6 hours in the spring. Teaching summer classes is virtually impossible if you are part-time.
