I have been working at University of Vermont full-time

    Pros

    People are generally very friendly.

    Cons

Can be provincial and behind on technology. Lots of reinventing the wheel.

    Advice to Management

There is no culture that separates cost centers from money makers. Researchers and teaching staff are money makers but are treated as if they work for the administration, making progress difficult.
