    Depends on Department

Dec 1, 2022 - Outreach Specialist in Seattle, WA
    Recommend
    CEO Approval
    Business Outlook

    Pros

Benefits, competitive salary, part time available. A lot of autonomy to create a development program on smaller unit scale. Advancement and learning opportunities abound if you are allowed to access them.

    Cons

Unless you are part of the centralized development staff, most people around you have no idea what you do or why you use certain methods. Resources can be insufficient and it can be a battle for infomation and freedom. Several staff and faculty members did not like undergraduate students or youngnpwople in general. Completely disregarded any alternative programs (night school, for ex) as having any "real" students. Worked there over a decade ago and hope things have changed.
