I have been working at University of Waterloo as a contractor (More than a year)

    Pros

Being a smaller tech-focussed institution it has a dynamic and forward-looking (if nerdy) 'feel'. UW is big enough to be relevant, yet small enough that the organization is not too bureaucratic or unwieldy.

    Cons

    Lower pay than comparable universities.

    Advice to Management

    Keep up the good work.
