I worked at Univision (More than a year)

    Pros

Good 9-5 hours. Great pay. Work is easy. If you work for the right person and they notice your hard work and dedication they will help you move forward in the company.

    Cons

horrible health insurance. horrible vacation time, literally 10 days a year and 5 of those days need to be taken when the office is closed during the Christmas holiday.

    Advice to Management

do right by your employees. up their health benefits. i've seen smaller companies provide better health coverage to their employees. offer more vacation time 10 days? that's a joke.

I worked at Univision as an intern (Less than a year)

    Pros

Great hours (9-5 or 6 PM)... Friendly, supportive team as well as very skilled and all-around awesome senior management. Extremely positive culture. Immersion into media if thats the field you want to go into

    Cons

Very poorly structured program, was very bored most of the day, supervisor along with rest of the department were very busy (and as such couldn't be bothered to walk an intern though mundane tasks). Computer systems very outdated, spend a lot of time punching in data that a system should be able to update automatically. Won't learn much, if anything, about finance

    Advice to Management

Structure the program better so interns have a meaningful experience

    Pros

Working at Univision was definitely an experience! I had some amazing experiences from helping out during community outreach, to helping recruit with a reality show. I worked in commercial sales on the national side. It was pretty cool but not ultimately what I wanted to do. Media world is hard to grasp can be very superficial.

    Cons

A snake pit! Lots of office gossip but if you steer clear on the straight and narrow you should be good!

    Advice to Management

Management in sales is far too occupied with meeting their goals that they neglect team causing morale to be low.

    Pros

Good coworkers, training across different platforms, good schedule.

    Cons

Low pay, over worked, under staffed, no chance to move up unless you want to become an account executive.

    Advice to Management

Chose quality employees over unqualified just to save money for paying them less
