    Pros

Great working environment. Fun. Fast paced. Room for growth. New training program is very informative. Great pizza and beer. Managers always keep staff in the know.

    Cons

I don't really have any cons to submit about working here other than there are little to no breaks. Which is expected working in the service industry.

    Advice to Management

    Keep up the good work!

I worked at Uno Restaurants part-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

I worked at the Bay City and Saginaw locations for almost 7 years, six years as a server trainer. Teamwork and high-quality products were top priority to management. Our awesome corporate guy, Mr. Houston seemed to visit often and was always happy with our performance. Before each shift we would have a mini meeting to go over promotions, cleaning duties (cleanest restaurants I've ever worked in), ingredients and preparation of menu items, often tasting new food and drink items, etc.. There were always two managers on duty so guest concerns and complaints were handled promptly and professionally. Our goal as a whole was to not let any guest leave unsatisfied.
I loved my uno peeps and miss them dearly! Great place to work...not perfect for everyone. I would still be working there until I was too old and too slow but I moved two hours away

    Cons

BOH pay seemed to be low.
    Sometimes premeals weren't conducted
Somewhat inconsistent business (never understood why we weren't busy all the time, especially with such good food, service and atmosphere)
Not all restaurants(the great ones) are the same (impossible I know)

    Advice to Management

ALWAYS DO PREMEALS!! Empower your people. Knowledge is power. Knowledgeable waitstaff make you (and themselves) more $$
