    Pros

The individuals can be great to work with, you are doing rewarding work, it's possible to make a difference in their lives.

    Cons

Management is unorganized and much of the staff is uncaring, when you voice a complaint there is little that is done. Stay far, far away from Colenzo. That house will ruin your life. Staff is always late making others stay and wait.

    Advice to Management

Hire better managers and people that know how to work with individuals.

    Pros

Going into work everyday did not feel like a hassle. It was a rewarding experience. The kids in the ICF were a lot of fun as well as challenging but it showed true character when difficult times occured on the shift.

    Cons

Management did not want to listen to staff in regards to certain things. Communication is not all that great. The pay is very little for the work that you do as a Residence Counselor.

    Advice to Management

Reward staff for the work that they do.

    Pros

The work is fun and very rewarding. Lots of opportunities for overtime. Benefits. Paid time off.

Pay is low, high risk of injury. Sites are often very short staffed to the point of being unsafe. Mandatory weekend scheduling. Good luck actually using any of your earned paid time off.
