    Long hours, huge quotas, and unrealistic expectations really made the job a great challenge.

    There were none. Great Job

    Pros

    Job security was good. Unless you didn't show up to work or you failed to do the minimum requirements you would not get fired from this company.

    Cons

    I was expected to take care of situations that were out of control and not a part of my job. As an example I was given a hard time by a manager (not my direct manager) as to why the locker room was not cleaned, when I wasn't even at work during a particular shift.

    Money wasn't bad during Nov-Feb. Good luck eating the rest of the year.

    Crappy hours. Micro-managers. Goals set way too high to reach.

    They were bought by LA Fitness, pressure to force sales

    free gym membership, set own schedule

    Cons

    management doesn't care about the employees just about making money
    hire just about anybody and within several weeks you can expect those people to leave
    change rules or ignore rules to suit themselves
    expect you to cancel clients' training to attend mandatory, nonpaid meetings

    Advice to Management

    get out of the gym business
