I have been working at Urban Lending Solutions full-time

    Pros

Good people for the most part and a good place to learn. Efficient systems in place.

    Cons

After the mortgage and loan crisis ended, the company has gone from 2500 employees to below 500. It appears to be a sinking ship. You can get laid off with zero notice. Good luck if you still work here.

    Advice to Management

Watch for favoritism and the buddy system with some management. Reminds me of 3rd grade.

    Pros

You can learn a lot working for this company and meet a lot of great people.

    Cons

Management is very unorganized in my opinion and they tend to take a lot of their best workers for granted. There is also a lot of micro managing within this company.

    Advice to Management

Take the time out to include your employees in your decision making in addition to making them feel appreciated.

    Pros

Good people. That is really the only pro for the company

    Cons

Senior leadership is the worst. I have never experienced senior management like this, bulling and harassment is perfectly acceptable. Why, because the one bullying and harassing you is senior management. I am surprised that lawsuits have not been filed against this company due to the treatment of employees by the SVP within the organization

    Advice to Management

If the leaders want this company out of the pit of disappear they need to look at all the senior management (SVP in particular) and clean house. Unless you fix things from the top, you will never succeed.
Sales and marketing can go a long way --- get someone that knows what they are doing, not a friend of Chuck
Values - the company needs to get some

Senior management is the absolute worst I have ever experienced. Departments are led by bullying and harassment.

    Company has no values

    Advice to Management

Get rid of senior management and start over
Get some sales and marketing people before the company folds

    Pros

Market level pay, good location, hiring process smooth

    Cons

Doesn't keep up with usual environments of IT. Processes are too slow for minimal changes, can be a tad frustrating if you're the type that needs to accomplish things often. Health benefits too a ridiculous long time to kick in due to some weird time windows, so I went about 90 days without health insurance

    Advice to Management

Follow the lead in some processes for tech shops
