I worked at Usherwood Office Technology full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

The owner was available and there are some very nice people that are great at their jobs working here.

    Cons

This company has gotten much bigger in the last few years and with growth comes corporate mentality.

    Advice to Management

I really don't have any. They are doing what they can do with the size of the company and the direction that they want to go with it.

I worked at Usherwood Office Technology full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Exciting pursuit of technology sales of equipment and networking solutions. Management is nimble and capable of making quick changes and course corrections.

    Cons

Poor communication throughout the management team to other managers and to sales and service teams at various branch offices. Changing and competing priorities resulting in sales and service frustration accompanied by lack of consistent direction.

    Advice to Management

    Improve leadership and communication.

    Pros

401K match. Family owned. It was a good company to work for when I first started there. Company events were a blast.

    Cons

Starting to cut corners. Too many untrained bosses. The customer is now taking a hit on quality.

I worked at Usherwood Office Technology full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

You are left alone to sell. No micro management so if you are someone that does well with little to no management than this is a great fit. Worked for me.

    Cons

The is no account management so you only sell to new accounts.

    Advice to Management

As long as you know what your in for this model works.

I worked at Usherwood Office Technology full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

This is a large company and the people that work here are typically the top of their fields.

    Cons

This can be a stressful place to work. The company motto is be prepared to go with the flow...very few things are consistant but, that is the nature of the business itself.

    Advice to Management

I think that management has a pretty good handle on what they are doing and what needs to be done.
