- people in the office are really great - our processes and the leads are getting much better - the new products are easier to sale - great support from the HU engineering team

- office is not ideal for people using bart - achieving our quotas can be sometimes challenging - turnover in the sales team

Pros

The new products were really great. The CS team had good feedback from the customers, our performance improved a lot. Communication with the HU teams became quite smoothly. Regular town halls, update from the different teams, the company vision is communicated by the management.

Cons

No real cons. Fast pace, quick moving. Sometimes too fast. You have to be very flexible. I had to answer a lot of customer support ticket requests.

- In the last 2-3 years we replaced all the third party tools with our own solution which provides great flexibility in adding new features. - We are allowed to spend half of our time with improving the way we develop, the build and release process, creating developer tools, making possible to have dedicated resources for VIP customers etc., to try out new languages and technologies. - I am working with a very passionate team, I can learn a lot and the whole team has very big freedom in how to implement the new features. - The company provides huge flexibility, I can work any time from home, we have no vacation policy. - The company improved a lot in the last 1-2 years in transparency, I have a lot of information about what is happening around. - Strong devops culture, we have less and less dependency on other teams, we own the systems that we develop. - We are working with top brands like Facebook, NASA, Linkedin, Sony, Nintendo, Salesforce etc., it is a really great feeling that how many people and companies use the solutions that I develop.

Cons

- This is not a place for 9 to 5 guys, we provide 0/24 duty, and sometimes live support of huge events can be challenging. - The developers tools improved a lot, but we still have challenges because of the distributed nature of our system. - The product direction changes a lot (but actually I like the current directions). - The engineers are a bit overloaded, my team is responsible for 3-4 important components.

Pros

relatively small team, high traffic, chance to shine. The Hungarian office became a really great place to work, a real silicon valley startup feeling, with a lots of benefits. You have a chance to work with some brilliant people on challenging problems there.

Cons

A way too much work expected for little appreciation.
