    Pros

The commissions can be rewarding... if you ever get them.

    Cons

Very negative work atmosphere doing dubious financial transactions. VFI is a equipment leasing and financing company that provides lease financing for companies to purchase equipment. High interest equipment finance is the payday loan industry in business borrowing. The equipment finance products you are selling to customers will have a final interest rate between 12-30% when they finally close the transaction. This is the reason there are very few repeat customers. Chew them up and spit them out is the mentality is how they treat the customers but also how they treat employees. The 100-200% turnover in the sales floor every year should be the big red flag.

I have been working at VFI Corporate Finance full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Best working for VFI its a job and a steady check

    Cons

Where to begin: Management is ridiculous There is only one manager with an actual degree from a credited college There is no room for error at any time. Managers have no training and no personal skills to handle their subordinates If you like "Shiny" objects rather than an increase in pay this place is for you If your going to work here, better make friends quick if your not in the clique you will not last long. They have no career opportunities unless you know someone there already Family ran is an understatement here. Your lucky if you don't get replaced with a family member in need of a position. If the ratings could go negative, I'd be choosing those.

I worked at VFI Corporate Finance full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Salary is great, minimum of 6 months employment if you're lucky and maximum of 1 year if you're really, really lucky. If you want a seasonal job, just work there and squeeze the 65K salary for as long as possible. If you're looking for a long term career, you're out of luck.

    Cons

Have you ever seen The Wolf of Wallstreet? Imagine all of the stress of a sales transaction, without the success of the movie, or the commission. Also imagine the management on drugs pressuring you without end to meet unrealistic expectations that are beyond your control. This....is VFI.

    Pros

None, it's a glorified overpaid call center.

    Cons

This is a terrible place and I wouldn't recommend trying to work here for any reason. A terrible terrible place.

I worked at VFI Corporate Finance full-time for more than 10 years

    Pros

Nice office. Some food, but get it when it is first delivered, or it's gone.

    Cons

Incredibly disingenuous group of people. They are a churn and burn outfit. Out of twelve people in my hiring class only three are left apparently. 90 percent turnover is still accurate.

I have been working at VFI Corporate Finance full-time for more than a year

    Pros

The money and perks will entice you. Don’t do it. Run.

    Cons

This is the most miserable place to work. It is glorified telemarketing. You are not nurturing client relationships or developing business. You are cold calling to pitch predatory loans to mid-cap companies. There is an overwhelming sense of aggression and discontentment. They will try to convince you that there is a magic secret, there’s not. You blindly call, pitch the script and cross your fingers. Of all of the sales floor maybe 2 people have found good money everyone else is on the way out. They will also push you to give them positive glass door reviews and respond positively on the corporate survey. So take with a grain of salt the positive posts. I posted one under pressure because I didn’t want to lose my job before I’d found something better. Run away.

    Cons

The office can be a little cliquey.
