I have been working at VISION SECURITY SOLUTIONS full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

They treat the employees well and give great bonuses.

    Cons

If you're not a company man you're an outsider looking in.

    Advice to Management

Take care of the people that really do the work and not the ones that suck up.

    Pros

Opportunity to learn on the job. Decent pay. Do it only if you want to gain experience, but have a back up plan.

    Cons

Employees not appreciated by owner. Company took on new contract (6 figures) which would have required a huge increase in weekly work hours, including 24hr service calls, but only wanted to offer an additional 10% ($2/hr) raise to employees who were salaried and already working 60 hrs per week (wasn't enough for company). Then, owner wanted to drop salaries by $5/hr w/o justification. Ended up firing the whole crew and hiring new employees (for $5/hr less after we trained them) when no one agreed to it. To top it off, owner didn't want to pay "Unemployment" so we were all let go for incompetency. I had to go to Unemployment Court w/them. There was always a constant need to shove other employees work onto your plate so you were over worked and that employee could be fired. It was always about "how much extra they could get out of you." If they could milk you for free - they would.
