Quality of work experience depends HIGHLY on business unit and quality of leadership in that business unit.

    Advice to Management

Dive deep into performance of managers and teams. Don't accept surface self-assessment.

    Pros

VMware is re-emerging at the center of IT. You have a legitimate opportunity to transform the business.

    Cons

With change comes chaos and uncertainty. It’s a messy process under the best of conditions and it’s not for everyone.

    Advice to Management

When you’re going through transformation, keep going. Do not linger in this place, it’s hard on everyone. The longer it takes, the greater the risk of failure and losing top talent.
