I have been working at VMware full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

Working for VMware is and has been a fantastic experience. Somehow, VMware with 25k employees (Family members) manages to treat us as individuals versus as a number. VMware heavily invests in you and your professional and personal growth. VMware created a family-style work environment where everyone is approachable and easy to talk too; this includes upper management.

    Cons

No company is without faults; however, I calculate the pros and cons and conclude that VMware is a fantastic company. Sure one could nitpick. Not a con but does add to work stress - Since VMware's inspection, they have been paving the way forward by creating new paths and leading the industry and our customers to new heights. Today, VMware continues to push and challenge the status quo through further developments and acquisitions. Sometimes it feels like you are changing a flat tire at 200 mph.
