I have been working at VSP Vision Care full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Office environment/interior design, onsite cafe, parking

    Cons

Expertise of management, treatment of rank and file employees, salary/compensation

    Advice to Management

The management culture of VSP needs to be shifted from nepotism to actual, bona fide leadership. The days of free money and no competition are numbered.

I worked at VSP Vision Care as a contractor (Less than a year)

    Pros

Solid organization, generally good upper management, diversity

    Cons

Horrible place for contractors, HR completely incompetent, poor mid-managers, a lot of 'dead weight' employees that have been there way too long.

    Advice to Management

Quit treating contractors like dirt, scale down the number of mid-managers--most are quite incompetent.
