    Pros

They are all about you developing your career if that is what you want to do.

    Cons

Not enough one on one training for the new employees that are located at customers sites.

    Advice to Management

Work on the on-site training for the new employees

    I worked at VWR full-time

    Pros

Great benefits and stable organization. Wonderful place to learn the scientific products industry, leadership and sales skills. Supplier relationships are solid and always expanding. Good step forward with Avantor merger.

    Cons

Long time under private equity (3rd PE owner now) with impacts to debt burden and resulting investments in the business. Competition portfolio/value proposition is very strong. Turnover is increasing.

    Advice to Management

Sr. Leadership compensation is too high which takes away from front line/average wages and talent acquisition success to sustain the core strength of this business. Revisit your competitive position on wages on non-exempt.

    Negative Outlook

I worked at VWR full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    Paid time off, Long Breaks

    Cons

    Management, Under paid, Under Appreciated

    Advice to Management

Do not play favorites. Maybe someone in management should have a little science background considering this is a science company (it is hard to ask questions when all you get is a blank stare because management does not even understand the question). Also tell your employees thank you every so often - feeling under appreciated is the easiest way to lose hardworking employees (In my opinion).

I have been working at VWR full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Great company culture, invests back into the company through targeted acquisitions and continually works to keep up with the always changing market trends.

    Cons

Cheap company that only sees dollar signs which translates into low pay increases year-over-year, difficult sales targets, etc. High turn over due to high growth goals with little to no leniency from management when large number of head winds are met during the year (ie sales targets aren't adjusted).

    Advice to Management

Management needs to understand that sometimes squeezing every percentage of margin out of what we do isn't the best model. Reps need better incentives and the turn over we see is a direct correlation.
