I worked at Vacation Village Resorts full-time

    Pros

Can make ok money if you know how to pressure the buyer.

    Cons

Management doesn't know how to hold people accountable. They keep your commission's when you leave . They don't show you in detail when a cancellation has happened and you can't fact check it or you get fired.

I have been working at Vacation Village Resorts full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Training is good and that is about it honestly.

    Cons

When you get out of training everything changes... The managers encourage you to lie to customers, the 'exchange' program with Interval International is a joke. Unsuspecting guests that you are selling to think there is a system for them to go to 5 star resorts around the world and even have crusie exchanges for no fee. This is so unethical and misleading. Additionally, they (Managers/Directors) tell unsuspecting guests that they will give them a good deal with no 'Gold Card'... The Gold Card is standard and cannot be taken away. The Gold Card offers no discounts at all. I felt terrible lying to people and could not stomach it anymore... There are so many price drops... You push the $24,999 package... If you can lie and sleep at night, do it. If not, move on to better opportunities. Oh, you have to drive the guests around in your vehicle... Some have terrible hygiene and they'll eat in your car.

I worked at Vacation Village Resorts for less than a year

    Pros

I liked working there because although there was a dress code, you could wear comfortable clothes because it is a phone center.

    Cons

Breaks were over before you know it. However, they don't have to give breaks due to the hours in the shift but they do.
