    Pros

Fun people and chance to make a lot of money. Staff is helpful and training works...!!!! Open doors to management and a big chance of moving up in the company

    Cons

You work a lot of hours. Not enough time to have breakfast or lunch if you are not with a costumer.

Free snacks in morning and afternoon Very little micromanagement Paid for me to go to real estate school (no longer... offered)

I worked at Vacation Village Resorts full-time for less than a year

    Pros

Free Breakfast and Lunch daily if you are lucky enough to get a tour

    Cons

Everything. They tell you you will get 2 tours a day and make 100,000+ it’s a lie. Reps were sitting for weeks without tours, managers were going out before reps, the tours are not vetted what so ever, they lie to the consumer on everything. You will waste your time here and risk your license

    Advice to Management

    Better training

I worked at Vacation Village Resorts full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Many of the salespeople do care about each other in true friendship and as teammates.

    Cons

No transparency. Emotional abuse along with unqualified tours. Several top leaders are bipolar or narcissistic, behave like children- throw things at each other, spit sunflower shells on the sales floor, commit adultery and yes they are lifelong liars to everyone- that is for starters. Forget about the ESOP- we were never on board to get there anyway.

    Advice to Management

It looks look like you knew about “laying off 80% of the team” for months. I hope you are selling the property by divesting because there is not an ounce of trust left.

I have been working at Vacation Village Resorts full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

Positive working atmosphere, team oriented, people who work here are nice and easy to get along with. Potential good income.

    Cons

The company has not been able to keep up with a good clientele flow, income has droped drastically and schedule is unstable. Very uncertain future projections.

    Advice to Management

Take in mind your sales staff interest more and give a bigger piece of the comission to the people who make high sales volumes.

I worked at Vacation Village Resorts part-time for more than a year

    Pros

This is a great place to work if you can read and speak english, deliver your lines convincingly and can take a little (okay, a lot) of rejection. If you're a student, this will work good for you. If you're a senior and you need a little extra, this will work for you. If you're a single parent and you need health benefits this will work for you. If you need a part-time job after your full time job, this might work... for you. It's not hard to make your numbers, and if you miss them they give you plenty of opportunity to get your A game back. Seriously, this is a good gig!

    Cons

This is probably not a career job for most.

    Advice to Management

On the wheel spin take off the Non-monetary options and increase the others. This should be fun and exciting, not a let down. I "pat" myself on the back for just waking up and getting out of bed everyday.

Very laid back, nice people, and benefits are good.

    Cons

No training at all, no tours, and the bonus is non existent I wouldn’t recommend as your first timeshare job at all.

    Advice to Management

Hire a trainer, and care for your employees a lot better.
