    Pros

Great benefits, and the culture is great. Everyone is willing to share and help out and help you make the most of your opportunity. Absolutely great company.

    Cons

Very challenging work. As an intern you are expected to learn everything extremely quickly and to perform at a very high level.

    Advice to Management

No complaints about management. My supervisor has been very helpful in explaining what he expects from me and what it will take from me to get to that point.

I worked at Valero Energy as an intern (Less than a year)

    Pros

Given many responsibilities, many friendly intelligent people to learn from. As an intern I had a lot of freedom to work independently.

    Cons

Hired a small percentage of interns compared to the previous year. There wasn't much teamwork. Almost all the assignments were to be done individually.
