I worked at Valley House Rehabilitation Center full-time for less than a year

    Pros

You'll learn most of your nursing skills. You'll learn how to prioritize & manage your time. You'll learn how to communicate well with other care providers (in or outside the facility)

    Cons

    Short staffed, Payroll problems.

    Advice to Management

Fix your time clock machine and payroll department. We're being paid less most of the time. We have no idea how we missed punch for 4 days and letting us know that its our fault. I would understand if it was only me, not knowing it was everyone who had the same issue.

    Positive Outlook

I worked at Valley House Rehabilitation Center part-time

    Pros

Great PTs, decent pay, friendly staff

    Cons

Always understaffed, very hard to get your job done in a satisfactory way

    Advice to Management

I know they were trying and continue to try to address staffing issues. No one is going to want to work there if they cannot feasibly get their job done.

I worked at Valley House Rehabilitation Center

    Pros

High hourly rate. Nice Facility design and employees. Good Experience.

    Cons

This is not how a rehab center should be run. Unrealistic productivity expectations. Poor/Non existent benefits. Lack of concern for employees well being. Revolving door of employees, everyone has left due to lack of changes. 3 different administrators in one year. Glad to be out.

    Advice to Management

Let someone else run your company.
