I have been working at Valley Services part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Kids are great, Co-Workers are amazing, Food, Schedule

    Cons

Was promised full time, and never delivered. Was promised benefits, but never given enough hours to afford it. A LOT of empty promises. It's just like every other minimum wage job out there, it just has a great schedule (we served school kids, so we went by the school schedule). I recommend this job for single mothers looking to make a little money but not so much they lose their benefits. It's actually perfect for that. Just don't expect to get rich, and please, have insurance elsewhere.

    Advice to Management

Follow through on your promises and you might keep people a little longer than a season.

    Pros

    Paid weekly, uniforms provided. Pay

    Cons

Promised raise after 90 days, DM gave empty promises after my 90. I increased net operations income by 45% in that time.

District Manager never carried through with any of his promises, kept blaming VP for not signing off on my pay increase.

Hours; I worked in excess of 75 hours per week, most times reporting into work at 4am and not leaving until after 5pm. Worked Holidays. Encouraged by District Manager to alter time records if employees were over 39 hours and not to pay employees who worked Holidays and eligible for Holiday pay not to pay the employee for what they were eligible for.

District Manager gave client many empty promises and tried on several occasions to throw Manager under the bus.

    Advice to Management

Live up to your word. Don't steal labor hours from employees. Treat the client like they are your main customer. When you screw up a contract don't throw your on site Management under the bus.
