I worked at Van Ru full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

The people I worked for and worked with were good people in my area. A very tight knit group instrumental to the success of the company.

    Cons

Rigid system architecture. Old. Composed of add on cheap solutions requiring costly maintenance. Difficult to change quickly because "too many cogs in the machine".

    Advice to Management

None. Not my place to say.

I have been working at Van Ru full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Some floor leads were pretty cool and would gladly help you. If you can work here, you can work anywhere in regards to telecommunications.

    Cons

It's a cut throat job. Upper management doesn't care about you whatsoever. So many departments in the company has been shut down due to company greed. A lot put kissing to a manager that goes on a power trip. Earning a bonus check is nearly impossible unless you are bringing coffee to the manager.

    Advice to Management

Please just realize that your employees are people. They have a family of their own, no manager should ever talk to anyone the way they do here.

I worked at Van Ru full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

There are not best reasons to work at Van Scew. They will screw you over what you make hourly then promise you bonuses and do everything that they can to take the bonuses back from you. Forget about ever getting a raise was there 4 years got one raise.

    Cons

This place is a rip off. Not only does it take advantage of the poor people it is collecting money from. It also takes advantages of its employees. No raises. Bonus structure is a joke. Management is a joke. The people that work there especially the management are the most ghetto people in the world. If you take this job expect to be looking for a new one within 12 months. They do everything to get rid of their best collectors. This place should have been shut down a long time ago. Even the Dept of Ed knows they are no good. They lost the Dept of Ed contract. Avoid this place like the plague.

    Pros

Setting up a rehab has never been easier and you could make good money.

    Cons

Steph Levine doesn't care about anyone but himself. He's a stereotype when it comes to a person in charge who has never done the job and doesn't appreciate the work a collector does.

    Advice to Management

Try to have a back bone.
