More Pros and Cons
  1. "Great for students to make extra money"

Current Employee - Central Library Student Worker in Nashville, TN

I have been working at Vanderbilt University part-time for more than 2 years

      Pros

The job is pretty easy to learn. You're working with mostly students and faculty, so there are rarely difficult people to deal with (as you might find with other minimum wage jobs). The supervisors are very understanding of students' crazy schedules, and finding someone to cover your shift is pretty easy. The job isn't super demanding, so there is plenty of time to do homework.

      Cons

The pay isn't great. I put in $9 for the hourly rate because Glass Door doesn't allow fractions, but it's actually $8.5.
