    I have been working at Vantage Deluxe World Travel full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

    Always interesting and career advancing however the pace is not for the faint of heart. But if you are willing to work hard and be dedicated you will have opportunities to learn and grow everday. I love that!

    Cons

    Vantage is changing!!! It will not happen overnight but I have seen significant effort from leadership. I am hopeful and want to be part of the solutions. And yes the owner is working hard to lead the way.

      It's a paycheck while you search for other employment.

      Cons

      Every Monday, the owner gave us a list of the people to be fired. It was usually the same people we just hired.. Incompetent people are hired and fired because competent talent won't take the job. The few competent hires are fired because they are a threat to the owner's ego. Any attempt to be successful is sabotaged by the owner. Turnover is over 60%. It is the most abusive work environment imaginable. I felt...

      1) Management does not follow through with promised deadlines. Customers should received updates, or at least follow up to let them know they have not been forgotten. 2) Automated outbound system does not work correctly. Agents should be able to view information prior to an outbound call being made.       Talented staff in marketing. Work hard, dedicated and all do great work. As a new employee, I'm impressed with the success and talent of the company. We have very loyal customers, and we do goo work for the community. We have donated luxury cruises to veterans and recently Vegas shooting families...great stuff. The company is under new marketing management, and moving rapidly into digitan and better website.

      Cons

      Fast paced (also a pro), and demanding of quality work. Perfectionists! Don't work here if you are not motivated and do quality work, you won't last.

      Near the T. Lunch brought in during 5 hour, 12 person meetings, which is typically four times per week.

      The job rec's are out again! With turn over above 50 percent this is the norm. What the CEO refers to his company as a "Marketing Company" his highest turnover is in marketing. Why? It's his way or a tantrum. And the marketing practices are from the 1980's. The strategy is to find out what his brother is doing and copy it.
