    Pros

Flexible work hours. Co-workers are good people.

    Advice to Management

Listen to your employees and work with your members. When members are having hard times, help them. Don't make things worse by penalizing them and adding on more fees.

I worked at Vantage West Credit union full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Outstanding benefits, friendly people and job security.

    Cons

Not with the times. There have been too many poor promotions to vital positions that are causing critical failures, high levels of inefficiency and negative impacts on the moral of high performers. No willingness to learn/grow; if someone does not know how to do something it simply can't be done.

    Advice to Management

There needs to be a hard look at the structure of the company from top down. Especially in the IT division. Too much power, to the point of conflict of interest concerns. Most solutions are outdated and innovative ideas are promptly shut down due to a lack of competence near the top. Listen to the "new" guys - a fresh perspective could save a great local company.
