    Pros

Take charge of the full spectrum of mobile marketing tools. They have it all, but it may be too much - a lack of focus has gotten Velti to the point where they don't have a leadership position in any specific area. To get back on top, they have to land new customers and reacquire old ones.

    Cons

Chapter 11, Chapter 5. They were listed in NASDQ, now they are not listed at all.

    Advice to Management

    get your stuff together

I worked at Velti full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

The people, everyone I worked with in the trenches were amazing, one of the best teams I ever worked with and I miss working with them.

    Cons

Management and Greed. This Company had the potential to do great things, BUT in 2011 they made some bad acquisitions and started doing bad business for fast cash that they could not collect, Senior Management loved big bright shiny new things and would pay what they had to to get it, now they can't buy mu house!

    Advice to Management

Never start a Company again. You are not qualified!

I have been working at Velti full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Casual atmosphere in the Atlanta office.

    Cons

The stock promised as part of the compensation package is completely worthless and now they are being delisted from NASDAQ. Overall, poorly mismanaged.

    Advice to Management

If this company has any hope, stop hiring mediocre employees that contribute very little. Also, seriously evaluate the remaining employees, look at their actual responsibilities, and whether they're meeting (let alone exceeding) the expectations of their role.

I worked at Velti full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Worked with experts in the mobile ad tech ecosystem. Exposure to working with Fortune 100 brands.

    Cons

Upper management failed to provide a cohesive vision for the company. The future health of the company is uncertain, as they attempt to sell off assets and reorganize. Wish them the best, but employee morale is low.

I have been working at Velti full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    Good industry, some decent prodcuts

    Cons

Management has no foresight. In one year of me being there, the company grew from 15 to 50 and then back down. Firing every 1-2 months. Stay AWAY!

One day they let go 25% of the company. On that same day they hired a new person. 2 months later they had their next layoffs and that guy got cut. Imagine being hired and then fired 2 months later. STAY AWAY!

    Advice to Management

Stop hiring ppl and then firing them!

    Pros

The people are awesome, especially in the New York City office. Very hard working, smart and a jovial bunch.

    Cons

The stock price and overall direction of the company. Also ethical practices of the company have not been favorable in the past.

    Advice to Management

    More transparency is always better

    Pros

Location has to be the only Pro - there were some decent, hardworking folks who wanting things to work.

    Cons

Absolutely no training or even a description of what my job was. People were hired for jobs that were impossible to define. An information system designed to prevent things from getting done.

    Advice to Management

I agree with others - this is Silicon Valley - people here know how to run software companies. Get a new CEO.
