This had to have been one of the worse places in the world to work.

    Advice to Management

The CEO is the reason the company is failing.

I worked at Velti full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

The people, everyone I worked with in the trenches were amazing, one of the best teams I ever worked with and I miss working with them.

    Cons

Management and Greed. This Company had the potential to do great things, BUT in 2011 they made some bad acquisitions and started doing bad business for fast cash that they could not collect, Senior Management loved big bright shiny new things and would pay what they had to to get it, now they can't buy mu house!

    Advice to Management

Never start a Company again. You are not qualified!

I have been working at Velti full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    Good industry, some decent prodcuts

    Cons

Management has no foresight. In one year of me being there, the company grew from 15 to 50 and then back down. Firing every 1-2 months. Stay AWAY!

One day they let go 25% of the company. On that same day they hired a new person. 2 months later they had their next layoffs and that guy got cut. Imagine being hired and then fired 2 months later. STAY AWAY!

    Advice to Management

Stop hiring ppl and then firing them!

I worked at Velti full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Location has to be the only Pro - there were some decent, hardworking folks who wanting things to work.

    Cons

Absolutely no training or even a description of what my job was. People were hired for jobs that were impossible to define. An information system designed to prevent things from getting done.

    Advice to Management

I agree with others - this is Silicon Valley - people here know how to run software companies. Get a new CEO.

I worked at Velti full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Nice people, fun events, great views and free food at times.

    Cons

No leadership, no training, no career advancement, revolving door, always someone leaving and someone new starting. Well, not every Manager at Velti lacked direction - somewhere great and excellent to partner up with while others were lazy and don't like to work and its very apparent to everyone and yet that behavior is acceptable? It's public knowledge that the company doesn't pay their bills. I had this question come up in an interview that I had after my dismissal from Velti. Wow, that was embarrassing for Velti and not me. Lastly, I had seen firsthand unethical situations go down, bad things and Management was aware of this. They let it go and fire the real performers. This place is a joke. Please stay away. I pray for Velti to go out of business.

    Advice to Management

Just close shop. Velti will not last.

    Pros

in an industry supposed to be, but far away

    Cons

poor management does not know what to do or what not to do
every company will be successful in this industry except Velti
    constant layoffs
if you have a job or somewhere to go, never come here.
After seeing all the reviews are bad, I had a dream that Velti is not as bad as one-star. But after my experience with Velti, I would give them a zero if possible. Never dream it is better than zero.

    Advice to Management

Find someone capable of being a CEO...
