I worked at Venetian Casino Resort Inc full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Full Paid benefits, discount/free tickets to shows and retail within properties

    Cons

Mgmt plays favorites, no room for advancement unless you are in the "click", clueless about structure within IT, vendors and promotions are given based upon friendships not for benefit or betterment of IT structure/department.

    Advice to Management

When your entire network team of 10 ppl turns over, maybe take a step back and reevaluate the mgmt. team you have in place. They are only for themselves at whatever cost to the company and team members. When you say you have a direct line to HR for complaints and issues, don't refer team members back to their managers when the issue is the manager. Also maybe look at why you cannot fill, recruit, and keep staff within IT NOC, network, architecture. Be open to considering it the people you have placed in charge.

    Pros

Free health insurance for family, two free meals a shift. 401k,. Flex time

    Cons

    Advice to Management

Don't de-motivate your hard workers for a small mistake and let the lazy ones slide just because you expect it.

I have been working at Venetian Casino Resort Inc full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Great benefits, annual pay increases, everyday is something different. As an EMT, you’ll get a little mix of trauma and medical calls.

    Cons

You’re expected to do Security work, as well. Lots of paperwork and reports. I don’t think these are cons, per say, just more of a heads up.

    Advice to Management

Be consistent with discipline. Get to know your team and hear them out before issuing punishment.

I have been working at Venetian Casino Resort Inc part-time

    Pros

The benefits are amazing. You'll probably won't find another company who matches the benefits that the Venetian has. The pay is also pretty great for being in the hospitality business.

    Cons

The role of housekeeping is not for everyone. It is hard and they expect you to catch on pretty fast. The company is huge, so don't really expect to be more than a number.
