I worked at Veolia full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

good benefits at a reasonable price, annual bonuses

    Cons

Management are a bunch of old white guys; while filling their company with young, diverse individuals they are still operating as a "good ol' boys" network. Everything is a big secret, even among departmental teams. If you are adept at sucking up to the right managers you can get ahead in this company. Don't expect that your skills and solid work performance will do anything for you. Shady stuff going on at all levels so watch your back!

    Advice to Management

Management needs to stop posing as leadership and actually come up with a real plan to lead the business into the future using the skills and talent at their disposal. Stop all the old school hijinks and become more transparent with your workforce.

I have been working at Veolia full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

You can learn a great deal if you ask. Flexible, but with so many branches and divisions, this could vary depending on location

    Cons

Pay is well below industry average for EHS. Raises are percentage based company wide, leaving little incentive to go above and beyond.

    Advice to Management

Get with the program....salary is a deal-breaker for many. If someone is willing to work salaried, full time, and end up putting in hours every night while at home, they need to be compensated more than 55k per year, with a bonus that equaled 22 dollars per week extra. (Boston Area)
