I worked at Veracity Payment Solutions (More than a year)

    Pros

I had a great experience with this company.

    Cons

Comp plan changed quite a few times in the three years I was there.

    Advice to Management

    Stick with one comp plan.

    Pros

Location, right off freeway, updated office now have desks. New corporate colors

    Cons

Nepotism at its high. Not competive with employee benefits to other IT solutions businesses. Always working in recovery or crisis mode.

    Advice to Management

    Let CFO buy you out

    Pros

While this company was Veracity Payment Solutions (it is now Vanco Payment Solutions) there was a great corporate culture. They valued their employees' work, and rewarded us for going above and beyond. This was a great introduction to risk mitigation. My team was affected by a layoff, and the company was very involved in helping those affected be placed. Management was more than willing to write stellar letters of recommendation.

    Cons

As far as actually working for this company, there where none that come to mind. I would obviously have preferred not to have been laid off.

    Advice to Management

    Consider matching 401(k)

    Negative Outlook

I worked at Veracity Payment Solutions full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Your own desk and a nice top floor office / location. Its a tiny company so your contribution is pretty fast and significant.

    Cons

Atlanta group is falling apart - one resignation a month in IT. Recently closed office in Aiken. Expect the Atlanta office will be merged to the Minnesota office within a year.

    Advice to Management

Listen to group leaders, no really listen.

    Positive Outlook

I have been working at Veracity Payment Solutions full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Fast growing, no red tape to make changes, sense of autonomy (in some roles), promotional opps are high if you are a high performer.

    Cons

"Clicky" office, fit in or get out mentality. Role changes often, must be flexible and smart. Adept to change quickly.

    Advice to Management

Offer better compensation that suit responsibilities not based on geography.
