I have been working at Veredus full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Good training, great management, and the best office atmosphere I've been a part of. Company allowed me to relocate to Denver when the DTC office opened up and it has probably been the best team environment I've ever been a involved with.

    Cons

Too much money to be made here.

    Advice to Management

Keep doing what you are doing - This group will only get better!

I have been working at Veredus full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

By far the best work environment I've ever been a part of. I've worked in many staffing firms and none value their internal employees like they do! It's a family first environment which is great because I have 2 little children.
Great Pay with the BEST Commission in the industry!
    PTO/Benefits great!
    Facilitate growth and groom leaders!
Excited to see where the future takes me with this organization.
    Fun Environment
Snacks/Drinks provided daily in break room
    Great work life balance
If you're reading these reviews looking for an indication to take this job with Veredus, Hays. Stop wasting time and accept! You won't regret working for this awesome Org!

    Cons

Sometimes they pay you, your bonus before your candidate starts working... Not 100% BAD but if they quit or don't start. I have to repay that which might be spent already :)

Hard to think of CONs as this is truly the most exceptional company I"ve ever worked for.

    Advice to Management

Keep doing what you're doing! Watch out for deceiving New Hires who might be suited for more other industries.... You actually have to work for the income it doesn't just come to you :)

I have been working at Veredus full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

So many positives I don't know where to begin. I have been working for Veredus in Denver for over 8 months and I couldn't be happier. The support in this office is incredible. Our manager truly cares about us employees professionally as well as personally. Fun, exciting office culture where I truly look forward to going into the office. Being active is important to me and we're encouraged to use our on-site gym (even during the day).

    Cons

The fast paced sales environment isn't for everyone. You have to be willing to put the time in to grow your business.

I have been working at Veredus full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Veredus is an incredible company to be a part of. The leadership team goes above and beyond to make sure that all employees have the resources necessary to be as successful as possible. The culture and environment is great, and the synergy among employees reflects that. The Denver office is one of the funnest "pit cultures" I have been a part of. Kyle leads the team with a vigorous work hard, play hard energy that is extremely contagious. I believe there are some really great things in store for the future of this office.

    Cons

No cons to disclose for the office...

I have been working at Veredus full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Love love love this company! #1 in the business and I've been in this business for a very long time...over a decade. I've worked for big national/global companies and nothing holds a candle to Veredus/Hays. especially when it comes to culture. They nurture those who truly want to work..especially in the Denver operation. If you don't want to work..and are not honest...move on.

    Cons

Working in a start up operation always has its challenges but it's very rewarding as well. It's also a challenge hiring the right sales and recruiting individuals in a new market as there isn't a strong referral base like our more established operations have. It becomes more of a "hit and miss" process but many lessons have been learned to date.

    Advice to Management

Excellent executive leadership support and empowerment.

I worked at Veredus full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Dan is a fantastic CEO who has his door open to even the newest employees. Each period they do a drawing based on total deals for a trip to a different destination. Has an annual kickoff every year where everyone from the company gets to go to Tampa, FL and have a large networking event with plenty of awards, recognition and after hour partying. The company has established itself as a top brand in Tampa, Atlanta and Raleigh. Great commission plan.

    Cons

I wish I came into Veredus in the early stages of the company. The established local markets are almost impossible to break into since no one ever leaves. Candidate ownership hurts deals. The national VRC team can never establish itself as to what it is, as it was evolving into something else the whole five years I was with the company. Then there are markets that are so impossible to get going that I had no other option then to find another opportunity. Poor base salary offerings. $5-$10k lower then average market numbers. No remote work allowed, even for top producers in the whole company.

    Advice to Management

Listen to your employees and take account for what they are saying. In an industry where self talent and numbers dominate, it is hard to remember that you are one large team and need to work together. My advice would be to shape the company to be less individually focused and to give new people the opportunity to come in and make their mark. I saw so much talent leave due to no flexibility or opportunity and it was a shame.

    Pros

Ethical, well-run staffing organization. Competitive compensation. Good leadership team.

    Cons

Not a lot of work-life balance. Staffing in general is highly competitive.

    Advice to Management

Continue to solicit feedback from employees and provide opportunities to grow for long-tenured employees.
