Low pay and poor bonus programs for the Marketing and Sales side of the business.

    Advice to Management

    Pros

If you are a self starter and wish to be truly rewarded for what you put in, this is the place. Minimal oversight, minimal politics, challenging work, help getting, servicing and growing your own accounts.

    Cons

None i know of, if your looking for management this probably isnt your place. The minimal levels of management is what allows independent adjusters to thrive.

    Advice to Management

Dont change, continue hiring the best and paying them accordingly. The cream will rise...

Well-managed company. Well compensated for good results. Management allows each TPA to handle own clients. Thank you for a great retirement.

    Cons

Advancement within company is somewhat limited.

    Advice to Management

    Keep up the good work.

    Pros

Stability of management. No turnover and consistent and even-handed approach to management of professional staff.

    Cons

No room for advancement. Top-heavy in production.

    Advice to Management

You're too lean on support staff for your field production staff.

Current Employee - Executive General Adjuster in Naperville, IL

    Pros

Well recognized as the leader in large loss adjusting.
Company is run by a Kellogg MBA and not a senior claims hack.
Long-term relationships with many Fortune 500 companies
Global network of dependable professional claims personnel
Home Office is truly supportive of field personnel

    Cons

Company is growing fast - occasionally distracting management.
Management is stable and generally good -- but it limits opportunities for advancement into management.
Otherwise, it's a great place to work.

    Advice to Management

Keep doing what you're doing -- it's working very well. We really don't have any competition in the Property Insurance claims arena, for commercial large loss adjusting or National Accounts.
I plan to retire from this company, despite offers from competitors.

I have been working at VeriClaim, Inc. (More than 8 years)

    Pros

Great company with an understanding for work/ life balance. I have been with VeriClaim Inc. for 10 years out of college and can see myself working here until retirement.

    Cons

The opportunities for advancement seem minimal. However, the merger with our parent company might open up some great opportunities that are still to be determined.

I have been working at VeriClaim, Inc. full-time

    Pros

    It's a job
    Benefits (iffy though)
Some of the other girls are really nice

    Cons

Pay is lacking for what we do and deal with
Management is very unprofessional, showing favoritism of their school friends who are colleagues over the rest of us
Work load is never consistent, being swamped with supervisor down your neck, or 3 days changing templates or making lists that never see the light of day

    Advice to Management

Treat everyone the same for God sake
Don't hand out files to your friends first
DON'T ABUSE THE TIME CLOCK BECAUSE YOU'RE IN CHARGE OF IT AND THE BOSS IS'NT THERE (i see you)
