I have been working at Veriforce full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

Veriforce is a company that listens to every employee. I always feel as though my opinion matters. Flexible work schedules and friendly co-workers make working here very enjoyable. Veriforce continues to grow and is becoming a "household" name in the industry. I have been fortunate to be a part of this continued growth and it has allowed me to improve both an individual as well as a leader.

    Cons

As a growing company there are changes/improvements that occur. As long as we work together and remain flexible, these "cons" develop into "pros".

    Advice to Management

Continue to groom your leadership as they are the ones who directly affect the "front line" workers and as a result the culture of Veriforce.

I have been working at Veriforce full-time

    Pros

Good work-life balance Some good people Free lunch each month

    Cons

There is no growth in a lot of the departments and they do not promote from within anymore. The company has lost the family feel once they sold part of the company to an investment company. The pay is below average and the insurance is only good if you are single. If you try to cover a family you are looking at a house payment. They let go of half of a department in a department meeting in the most tackey possible...

    I worked at Veriforce full-time

    Pros

You don’t have to bring work home with you.

    Cons

Management will recruit employees to spy on others. You can imagine what type of working environment that creates. Watch your back. You have no allies. People WILL sell you out to save their own skins. Pay is low for the industry. They are cheap. They won’t help you grow professionally so that they don’t have to pay you more. They will lie to you to get whatever they need from you then toss you aside once they’ve...

I worked at Veriforce full-time for more than a year

    Pros

This is your regular 8-5 job that can kick start your career. Benefits for employee are great. There are a select few of great people there to work with.

    Cons

Micro managed beyond belief. As I look back on my resume I can say that this place micro managed more than anywhere I have ever worked. I felt a HUGE load off of my shoulders when I left. Management will team up against you. Do not go to HR for anything, it will not be kept private. In sales, I spent more time justifying my job than actually doing my job. Unrealistic goals. Calls were recorded. Calls were played...

I have been working at Veriforce full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Veriforce is a great place to work! Not only is it growing as a leader in our industry, the environment for employees is great. The management teams truly care about each employee and there is a lot of opportunity to move up. If you work hard, it is noticed and rewarded. The environment is also fun, monthly themed employee lunches, fun events, volunteer opportunities, and just a great staff to work with. Management keeps...

I have been working at Veriforce full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

The company is stable and is seeing strong growth. The work we do makes an impact by enhancing workplace and community safety. Veriforce values its employees and is a HUGE champion for promoting within. I moved into a management position within two years. Hard work and dedication are recognized and opportunities for advancement are available. 100% paid benefits for the employee, community and charity involvement,...

I worked at Veriforce full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

Great work/life balance. I never once felt the need to stay late or work on a weekend. 100% paid health insurance (vision and dental isn't free, but is affordable) Employee lunches once a month. They do a mandatory company wide meeting every Monday. Everyone moans and groans about how it's a waste of time, but it's one of the few things they have left that keeps the small company feel.

    Cons

There really aren't a lot of opportunities for advancement because they usually hire management from the outside. Requests to be considered for open supervisor positions were ignored without even the courtesy of an interview. Expressing a desire for more responsibilities to management never got me anywhere either. Management also constantly promises you that BIG THINGS ARE COMING for your department and the company....

I worked at Veriforce for more than 3 years

    Pros

Company luncheons, 5% match of 401K, company pays for FULL medical and dental for only the employee, and 8-10 hrs of PTO every month!!

    Cons

MAJOR gossiping and other type things that come from going from a smaller type setting and to a bigger office type setting with way more employees.

    Advice to Management

Need better communication throughout the company.

Thank you for your feedback, it's appreciated. I'd like to clarify some things in order to help future job seekers: Veriforce provides a 4% 401K match, and PTO is a minimum of 10 hours per month, PTO increases to over 13 hours per month with tenure. I understand your concern ...

I worked at Veriforce full-time for more than a year

    Pros

The fact that i had a job and really nice coworkers were the only pros.

    Cons

Very racist company. Don't even bother applying here if you don't pass the brown paper bag test. You have to be 3x as qualified as a white person to have hopes of being hired/promoted.

    Advice to Management

Cut all this racism out. It is unfair. It's 2016, dicersity matters. I'm going to let corporatd handle this one.
