    Pros

Newer company with good growth potential but bad management caused lots of problems.

    Cons

Shady at the top, Some people need to be replaced or let go as they affect the culture. The CEO takes a blind eye to it.

    Advice to Management

    Get rid of the President.

I have been working at Verimatrix full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Talented staff and management with deep industry experience, positive and productive work environment, great performance. Decent comp and benefits and work-life balance.

    Cons

Its's not a startup, so it's tough to get very lucrative equity grants. This is someone offset by decent compensation.

    Advice to Management

Keep on, acquire more relevant technology to add to the portfolio and leverage strength. Invest more aggressively in building the security platform of the future that can extend into IoT.

    I worked at Verimatrix full-time

    Pros

Good technology, and good coworkers , people there try to make a good working environment.

    Cons

Salaries are not competitive at all. any startup can easily beat the salaries of VMX.

    No opinion of CEO

    Pros

Very mentoring and nurturing company. Working there as a non-technical contractor/intern led me to touch many facets. I loved the transparency and overall fun environment.

    Cons

I can't really think of many cons, overall very good company to work for and wish them all the best.

    Advice to Management

I worked at VMX a few years ago, so not sure how management structure has changed. Keep doing what you're doing, you are a leading industry leader for a reason.

    Pros

Very open, collaborative culture, starting from the top down. Company has been growing at a fast rate for years, so plenty of learning and opportunity. I believe that company has superior relationship skills with hundreds of global customers. Fun company events. Cool headquarters building/work-environment.

    Cons

With growth, there is always change. Actually this is a good thing in my opinion, but just highlighting for folks that aren't open to change.

    Advice to Management

Make sure top performers at every level get rewarded disproportionately even more so. Make sure employees clearly understand different benefits and value that customers see/want in company products versus other market offerings. Re-question all business assumptions every year. Keep doing a great job!

    Pros

The management was very capable supportive and helpful.
    They are flexible and understanding.
They will support you and your family in the face of adversity.

    Cons

In my position, at times it could get a bit overwhelming but when it was, I just had to tell my management and they would find ways to help.

    Advice to Management

Allow internal job application, post new jobs in the kitchen.

    Pros

    Good employees, dedicated and sharp.
    Friendly, nice environment to work.
Growing business, adding a lot of people, lot of chances to get ahead if you place yourself in somewhere important.

    Cons

Growing business, but lacks direction and scalability, not sure if the company was any making any more money because it took more people to do the additional work. Long term business growth may be an issue (but probably enough to survive for a long time).

    Advice to Management

Do something new, trail a new path and not just follow.
