I worked at Verint Video Solutions full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

The co-workers, engineering team, developers and trainers were FANTASTIC. The leadership brought in by Comverse Technologies destroyed a vibrant and cutting-edge company.

    Cons

Backstabbing and blindsiding long standing employees is the modus operandi of this Israeli led executive staff. That might be OK overseas, but here, that type of behavior and actions are reprehensible!

    Advice to Management

Don't cut your leadership team to "save money." You merely destroyed the trust and relationships built up over years with their clients.

I worked at Verint Video Solutions full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

The R&D team is fantastic, talented and dedicated. They do a lot on tight deadline and minimum resources.

    Cons

No room to grow, does not take a lot of risk to open new market. Has the same clients for years and often to late to react.

    Advice to Management

Need to innovate more and take risk

    Doesn't Recommend

I worked at Verint Video Solutions full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Big Company, good location, possibilities of moving between jobs, diverse opportunities of working abroad in different branch if you are interested (relocation) or for short periods,

    Cons

Verint has a general "policy" of throwing out any employee who worked in a project which is closed. This creates a gloomy atmosphere which does not help in focusing on the tasks to perform, promotes gossips and conspiracy theories

I have been working at Verint Video Solutions full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Great people, good projects, and lots of opportunities to improve

    Cons

Management squeezes everything they can out of you and then lets you go

    Advice to Management

Take advantage of the employees you have instead of hiring new ones somewhere else.

    Pros

Great product portfolio, good honest smart talented people.

    Cons

Bad communication between the different departments, operational problems between countries.

    Advice to Management

Consolidate the operation, most of our business is US based so products should be built and distributed in the US currently Verint is too spread out over too many time zones and languages.

    - Good work environment

    Cons

    - Upper level management communication to employees not too good
    - Employee skill set improvement not spontaneous for the company

    Advice to Management

Management should communicate critical decisions affecting employees in a timely fashion.
Management should also be more open in setting expectations from employees as well as, for the company.
