I have been working at Verint Witness full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

The culture is good. Not like big ERP companies where there is little respect for employees. Market and strategy are very good. It takes hard work, but very good rewards in return with solid opportunity to make seven figures if you can sell large transactions. Great presales organization. I would characterize it as a sales focused culture. Equity available for strong performers at levels demonstrates commitment to...

    Cons

System and processes are very challenging. Not what you would expect in large, $1 billion company. Benefits are average. There is not a lot of focus on employee development or training opportunities.

    Advice to Management

Invest more in people and systems and company will grow faster.

    I worked at Verint Witness

    Pros

Great peers to work with, some of the most talented in the industry. They take a nurturing and mentoring approach to technical skills growth and spend a long time bringing people up to speed. This is a good thing, because they have the 25th largest enterprise system in the world -- highly complex and a HUGE learning curve.

    Cons

They lack proper training for developers to come up to speed for such a large system; although, I got an inkling as I was leaving that they were considering changing their approach.

    Advice to Management

This system is big and complex enough that is warrants weeks of concentrated training courses and its own curriculum for overall architecture, troubleshooting, etc. Make the investment, Verint. If you don't, you will eventually deplete your base of people that can work effectively on your huge, world-class system.

I worked at Verint Witness full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

Very friendly, non-corporate working environment. Free breakfast on a Wednesday. Tips & family outings organised. Great bosses, chilled environment. Great place to work

    Cons

Got bought out by a corporate rival. It was never the same again. Many of the original staff left. The office moved to Weybridge, and was not close to any shops (previous office was Leatherhead town centre)

    Advice to Management

Beware of smaller competitors borrowing money to buy you out. It would be nice if you promoted from inside, instead of recruiting externally all the time
