Ok so that may be a bit over the top, but I have to say that I've learned more about leadership and teamwork in my time spent in this company than I did throughout my entire college experience. The things you have to learn to be able to be successful are the exact things that they teach you. My uncle owns several businesses and he stated that I should have stuck it out longer because of all the training. But hey, I had to move to a different state, so what are you going to do? Anyway, thanks again to the people at Veritas Inc and especially my trainer.
Cons
There are a couple of downsides to working here. I can remember that when we would first bring someone on, they were sort of wishy-washy, or at least they seemed that way to me. It seemed that people these days don't want to work very hard or just want something EASY. Here's a news flash for you - You don't get paid the big bucks for EASY. Why wouldn't you want to add as much value as possible to the marketplace and get paid for it? So here's the thing - if you want an easy job - don't work here. If you want some serious training and a shot at the big leagues, tighten up your workboots.

Veritas continues to challenge and develop me in to a top leader that will make a difference in management and in life.

Veritas took me as a kid right out of college with some rough edges and has been shaping me into a man ready to open his own business. The tools and experience that Veritas provides and forges into it's team are insurmountable. As a management training program, it is like being paid to receive a higher level education to run your own company.
Cons
They do expect you to work a lot of hours at Veritas. If you are not a person who has a good work ethic than they may not be for you. *And managing your own company probably isn't either*

You'll get sucked into the "big picture" of promised success preached by upper management and waste your time.

Young, dynamic environment, recent motivated college graduates, lots of after work get-togethers, big conferences with interesting speakers, opportunity to travel on roadtrips to other cities
Cons
Long hours, pay based on 100% commission (little pay for the hours put in), if you go out into the field with another rep (which is usually the case) you'll have to split your commission which means less $ in your pocket, hearing the same meetings every week, if the CEO is out of town the office is usually complete chaos, favoritism is obvious, no reimbursement for gas (you drive out to your territories on your own dime)

Gained a lot of experience
Jul 27, 2014 - Account Representative in Atlanta, GARecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
I started with this company right after graduating college. During my time there I learned a ton. I was able to use what I learned in the books at school and utilize it in everyday work life. I trained others, managed others, learned about sales and customer retention. It really was just a big learning experience,
Cons
I wish they had more than one location. I lived far from the office and just couldn't handle the commute anymore

Corporate trainer
Apr 15, 2015 - Corporate Trainer in Atlanta, GARecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
The information and education I've received from Ed and his team have been invaluable. As a recent college grad I've really grown both professionally and personally. The job definitely isn't for everyone, but for those who are wanting to invest in their future now, then it's worth it.
Cons
Long hours, but worth it. 9-5 was never for me, so I don't mind the work. I'd rather work hard now so I can enjoy my future later.

Can learn good work ethic
Jul 8, 2014 - Team Leader/Sales Representative in Atlanta, GARecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
Fun work outings. Sent to work at the beach or cool areas on a "business trip" where they paid for the hotel, but not food or gas. Taught me the value of hard work, therefore I out worked everyone in my next job with ease. Ed is an extremely motivating owner.
Cons
Commission only. You will spend most of what you earn on gas. Leads/territories are exhausted over and over again. Sometimes they would have you drive to the office and then drive an hour out to your territory for the day, then an hour back to the office. Sold a dream with unrealistic earning potential. Continuously told lies to keep people motivated. Expected you to work 11-12 hour days with no base pay.

Pros
There is great opportunity for advancement. I moved up more quickly than any other company I worked for. There was a great team environment, and the management always was motivated.
Cons
I had a hard time finding balance with work and personal life. I don't know if I can blame the company, but that would be my only con.

Veritable is an amazing place to work. The training and mentorship Is like no other! You can learn from the best. The work environment is always uplifting. You will never leave with out a smile on your face.
Cons
Long work hours, but those whom doesn't work hard doesn't play hard. I rather work hard to play hard than to have an easy job and not be able to play.

Pros
Great people, environment, extra-curricular activities, mentorship program, training, client, internal promotions...
Cons
Definitely a full-time CAREER schedule rather than a 40 hr/wk job, sales is required and some are not a good fit for it, some people don't like AT&T, our current client
