I have been working at Veritas full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

It is a fast moving, somewhat chaotic environment - but that is what makes it so exciting and full of opportunity. Lots of support to make a difference!

    Cons

If you are not ready for change and opportunity, it's not the right spot.

    I worked at Veritas full-time

    Pros

Really good place to work. I worked with some of the best people I've ever work with. Management alway treated me very well and supported my efforts.

    Cons

Veritas is going through some rough times and having layoffs. I'm hoping they can pull out but I don't think the companies going to come out the other side the same.

  6. "Going through transformation, but lots of opportunity. Great customer install base."

    Pros

Market Leader, has real solutions in solving today’s customer problems around data protection. I like working for my boss and the company. Customers like Veritas and see value in the company.

    Cons

Higher turn over than normal, but a lot of that has to do with the split from Symantec (wrong people in the wrong seats) and consolidation of engineering and support organizations into fewer locations.

    Advice to Management

Over communicate on plan to transform - people need to hear it over and over again. Feel leadership team has done good with this, but always can do more.

I worked at Veritas full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Individually team mates try their best, and are great to work with. Team mates try their best to do their jobs, and perform within the limits to which the executive team places them in.

    Cons

Executive Management is in a constant state of churn. Executives are constantly coming and going, which leads to a constant change in management direction, vision, and priorities. There was a large lay-off in June 2018. It seems as if the Executive team is simply trying to trim the work-force to the minimum amount of people to keep the company afloat, to prep the company for a sell-off to the highest bidder.

    Advice to Management

Make up your mind. Either sell off the company and stop the bleed of employees exiting the company, or place the company on a path for success. Communicate, Communicate, Communicate. You're doing a poor job of communicating the path and direction of the company to the employees, which leads the employees to have no trust in the future direction.

    Pros

Nice cooperating between colleagues, but unstable environment

    Cons

Not stable, YOu never know what will happen to the company and you will always be at risk. Especially if anyone looking for Green Card sponsorship I don't suggest this company because as per company policy they have to initiate after completion of 1st year but I am nearing to 2nd year completion still they did not process. they dont have budget
