    Flexible options for time off

    Cons

    Lots of inner center politics
    Micromanaging at its core

I have been working at Verizon full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

-Great benefits, tuition assistance, 401k matching, and list of others.

-Best pay that I've seen at a call center.

-great work environment, a lot of positive attitudes and energy.

    -on site cafe and gym!

    Cons

-Shift bids can be annoying . But if your performance is where it needs to be, you can get a desirable shift,

    - it's a call center, so sometimes customers can be a little rough and stress you out.

    Advice to Management

Think more about the customer when making big decisions. Some of the changes that you guys make do nothing but upset the customer and causes churn.

I have been working at Verizon full-time

    Pros

Great salary. Awesome perks. Benefits start when u start. Employee relations are great. I love my team leaders as well as management up to the director himself. Communication is fantastic

    Cons

The works hours are dreary. I barely see my children. It's hard being there for them to maintain their extracurricular activities. Seniority rules at Verizon.

    Advice to Management

Consider the new hires. Sales and retention rates should speak for itself. Scheduling is done in a seniority basis. It doesn't make sense to prioritize overtime to staff that won't bring in half the revenue that the new hires (I) do.

Benefits, pay and the coworkers. Good incentives. Lots of prizes. Can earn points towards merchandise. Union helps you when needed

    Cons

The shift not great. Work weekends. Seems that there is a us vs them mentality with management. Sometimes not enough support

I have been working at Verizon full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Good pay, benefits and sales training. Without this many of their employees would not stick it out.

    Cons

Absolutely everything is micromanaged. High unreasonable sales expectations, lack of communication between departments, no upward movement. Great deal of daily stress and pressure from management who feel it from top coming down. Archaic culture.

    Advice to Management

Show more empathy towards your teams, offer the ability to move upward within the company, create a more inviting culture, become more family friendly

I worked at Verizon full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

It was a decent company to work out. Its obviously not the worst job in the world. I still felt blessed for having a paying job. Overall it was a decent experience but I wouldnt want to be a lifer

    Cons

Sometimes the coffee is three to four days old. I'm not kidding! Anytime I asked the manager to buy fresh coffee I was told that I had to buy it myself. Oh well not a deal breaker.

    Advice to Management

Keep up the great work and continue to push through barriers. This is a great company to work with and all though we may not seem skilled to you we are the clue so continue to take care of us.
