    I have been working at Verizon Wireless full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

    Plenty of retail locations so transferring is easy, Annual bonus,Great pay, company gives a lot of person time/ vacation time and potential for promotion.

    Cons

    No set schedule ,Retail hours sucks, schedule is made by a computer program, and mandatory black out for vacation for holiday season

    Advice to Management

    Customers so come first instead of shareholders

    They have the least dropped callis and a very large selection of phones & other fun gadgets

    Cons

    Several of their current employees will go to far to make their composition sales

    Advice to Management

    Always make sure the sales people are not trying to pull a fast one on the customer just to make the commotion. VERY BAD BUSINESS PRACTICE !!
    This has happened to me twice now so I'm cancelling my contract with them to go with a more honest company

    Great Compensation. Great Experience. Great perks when traveling for business.

    Cons

    Retail schedule is rough. Large Corporation so little to no autonomy.

    Advice to Management

    Trust the middle level management you hire--let them innovate and create what is best in their specific market.

    Pros

    Good money, & flexible schedule.

    Cons

    One HR person for multiple states and hundreds of employees. Locations are poorly maintained unless they are considered an "A" store. Locations will literally be falling apart and they come down on employees as if slow traffic were some how related to their performance rather than an uneven floor, leaking roof and hundreds of dead moths between the neon and the windows.

    Advice to Management

    Don't turn a blind eye to employee concerns and complaints. Its a shock and wonder someone hasn't sued you.
