I have been working at Verizon Wireless (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Great benefits but a stressful environment. Fast paced and must be good at creating sales.

    Cons

Very stressful and management offers little praise.

    Advice to Management

Listen to your employees and flipping out on them is not a good way to coach. No work/life balance.

I worked at Verizon Wireless full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

I enjoyed working with my staff and employees and knowing people that have started there and have gone on to better opportunities. I would recommend it to anyone looking to gain experience and enter corporate America

    Cons

Different managers and supervisors have different way to manage but for the most part at the location, pretty much every one of then micro-manage. Too many politics; only way to grown your career is if you know a higher manager to "help" you get up there; if you don't you won't get the promotion; not even if you're more qualified.
