I worked at Verizon Wireless full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Tuition Assistance, medical benefits from day one, bonuses, and a healthy vacation and paid leave time package. Vacation time can be rolled over to the following year.

    Cons

Constant changes at the Call Center level. Many policies and initiatives that are quickly put in place are just as quickly discarded.

    Advice to Management

My advice to management is to listen to your reps on the floor more. Many policies are put in place that directly affect them, but rarely take them into consideration.

    Pros

Great benefits. Good pay and flexible hours

    Cons

Management is terrible. They don't hire the best candidates for management position. Its all about who you know. I was micro managed to the point my boss should have been doing the job. She is only concerned about putting her son through college. Her boss is even worse! He is clueless and is a bully.

    Advice to Management

Have trust in your employees. especially when they have a great track record of performing the job at a high level. Do what is right!
