      -upper management org. structure is largely based as a seniority focused boys club. "It's all about who you know" -short-term retention bonus was generous for this formerly titled Director of Networking Operations -personal/family cellular plan discount through Verizon was substantial and appreciated during that short-term


      -east coast upper management did not appreciate or understand how to properly utilize their new California resources that had previously enjoyed a substantial benefits package -I did not understand the importance of the legacy meeting agenda format used within Verizon. Meetings I called, (which only highlighted my intended talking points) did not include the necessary 5-10 minutes of ice-breakers where we all share how long we have worked at Verizon, followed by name dropping of persons that one had common business relationships with and then determining how closely related each of us were, to each other, within our common family org. chart -business decisions are slower and need approval from authorities a skip level or two above you. Sort of a rhetorical statement, but Glassdoor asked for Cons, not Con
