    Negative Outlook

I worked at Verla International full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Exposure to the industry, you only get 2 weeks vacation no matter the tenure, but they seem to not care if people take unpaid time so that can give a semblance work/life balance

    Cons

If I could give this employer zero stars, I would. The Management does not care about the employees and treats them terribly, as a result there is a revolving door of turnover. The place is run down and dirty. Management talks down to people. I could truly go on and on.

    Advice to Management

You have some amazing employees, open your eyes and start treating them better.

    Pros

The people who work there are nice. Lots of comradery because everyone hates it there.

    Cons

The people in charge do not know what they are doing PERIOD. They know nothing about developing cosmetics or customer service. Employees pay the price for their lack of knowledge. Which is why no one stays there long.

    Advice to Management

Sell the company to someone who can run it properly.

    Negative Outlook

I worked at Verla International full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Not many pros for working at a place like Verla International. I would say the only plus is that the people are nice.

    Cons

    -Absolutely terrible management
-Turn over rate is insane (Approx 25% of full timers in and out within a couple months)
    -Owners don't care about employees
    - This company is your iconic pit stop job ... not much better than WalMart

    Advice to Management

Create a better work environment for your employees to at least try to fake that you care about them.

    Neutral Outlook

I worked at Verla International full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Exposure to industry- You will have a chance to work with many top clients and meet people in the company who are high up in the chain and have great influence.

    Cons

Management - This team does not train employees and when you seek help from your coworkers who have been with the company for long enough to help, you are frowned upon. The senior management does not take the time to learn anyone's last name and cannot give you the time of day unless something isn't going their way. No respect for anyone under them.

    Advice to Management

If you care about the people you pay to be there, they will stay there longer! That is a lot easier than having to worry about re-training new people every month.
