I worked at Vermilion Energy full-time (More than 3 years)
Good salary, great benefits. Stocks were a perk. Hard work was recognized and reflected in bonuses and raises. Management is engaged and willing to listen to employees. Lots of team bonding and building events. Overall, this company has maintained the close feeling of a smaller company through their growth and success. Employees are valued.
Hard to advance as no movement in company. Employees tend to be very long term. It is hard to go in as a Junior or even Intermediate level employee and grow your career as there are many senior employees.

Advice to Management
The executive management is top notch. They genuinely make an effort to listen to employees suggestions and have done a great job. The management take a very careful, conservative approach which has meant no major mistakes for the company and shareholders.
I worked at Vermilion Energy as a contractor
Oil and Gas industry perks with small company vibe.
Competitive salary, great people, lots of opportunity to work in other regions of the world.
The only con I can think of that some departments have a lot of stress to finish financial reporting, might be understaffed ?
