I worked at Vertex Fitness full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

This is a great place to learn. Not like most places where the open the doors for you and let you do anything you want. They will teach you what you need to know to grow and build the clientele and will help you succeed. Not only will they help you learn about the personal training business they teach you life skills.

    Cons

Because it isn't the typical fitness business and most certifications don't tech a trainer how to be successful, there is A LOT to learn before one is up to the standard of this facility. This business has integrity and will not settle for less then the best. So as a con, I would say this con isn't about this business it is more about the industry not preparing people to this level and not until you are exposed to a place like this does one know how much they still need to learn to be successful in this industry.

    Advice to Management

Don't settle for anything less then what you want. If someone isn't up to your standards and aren't willing to do what it takes to get there. Let them go.

The nature of the business, there are long days.

    Advice to Management

Hire more staff so the staff that is there can get more time off.
