I worked at Victoria's Secret part-time for more than a year

    Pros

Great employee discounts with a "free outfit" quarterly. Keep in mind I worked on the PINK side so this included a panty, bra, shirt, leggings, and sweatshirt. It was awesome. If your management was well organized it was a great place to work.

I worked at Victoria's Secret full-time for more than a year

    Pros

I enjoyed the management structure. I have worked for retailers in the past that unfortunately do not allow for a balance of leadership responsibilities. VS has a management team that balances operational jobs between the team so that no one person has to carry out all of the responsibilities. I believe the time for training was also very good. Again, I have worked for retailers that have just thrown me on to the sales floor with hardly any training. The discount and generous product perks were very nice. I think VS pay structure for management and even hourly associates is very competitive.

    Cons

I have worked in retail so many years that I do not want to nit-pick any cons with VS. The cons would be normal retail things like working weekends and cleaning out disastrous fitting rooms. I chose to work in a retail store where I knew that was part of the job, so in general VS as a retail work environment is probably one of the best I have worked for.
