I worked at Victoria's Secret part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Great place to learn about customer service. I was lucky that they messed up and scheduled my orientation a week before the summer employees were supposed to start. Because of that early advantage I was trained for the cash rap while other summer associates only worked the floor and shipment and were let go after the Semi Annual Sale. Staff was nice and managers took schedules into consideration. Good discount.

    Cons

When I worked at Victoria's Secret we had on call hours which were a joke. Its retail not a hospital. The store was always understaffed and they did not abide by the 2 hour on call rule - you'd have to call back every 30 minutes until the potential shift.

    Advice to Management

Get rid of on call hours and make sure the store is appropriately staffed. Have a stricter policy for theft, happens way too often and damage tags only do so much for obvious stolen 'returns'.

I worked at Victoria's Secret part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

The pay is pretty decent starting out. Back in 2017, I am pretty sure part time got a 30% discount and full time 40%. That also extends to Bath & Body! The environment is great because most people there are also fans of the merch. Overall, experience was more positive.

    Cons

Some customers suck but welcome to retail. Management pushes sales a little too much -- sometimes felt like they'd rather associates be annoying than give people space.
